Postmortem Unit 3  DND Reference  This last Unit 3 Postmodern was a challenging project I have somewhat accomplished in this course. I again was a partner with someone else, but it was difficult to talk with the lack of communication. Not because this course was virtual but because both of us had two different schedules. Although it was difficult at times, we made it work to somewhat perfection. I was in group ten with John M., separate from the previous units. The game I created with my partner was out of the ordinary I would never imagine it. The title of the game is Traveler, and it's a role-playing fantasy game, but with a different format from the original, with a limit of three characters, the player has to choose from. The board is divided into three distinct realms describing the character's role. Hero, neutral (average mortal human), and villain are the only options the player(s) get to choose. When all the players reach, the finish line will result in the winner base...

Final Game Scene The Google Slides above represent the dedication I resent consider as what I can actually do.  I have been having difficulties with the module modeling for this entire project. Unfortunately, I only completed the first UV Set on time because I had errors throughout Maya and Unity. I tried my best to accomplish at least one of the buildings within my capacity and understand the concept of doing module modeling differently. To understand the frustration and the progression, I'll deliver a post-four-week dedication and patience throughout this project. Week 4 Post The final week wasn't anything I had ever expected. The only way to proceed is the method is to divide the objects of four into one layout or just decrease the size of the object UV so it can fit into the scale 0 to 1. Exporting into Painter was divided into groups because I wasn’t able to use multiple layers without having them colliding with one another. In Painter I was the substance material defau...

Tiling Textures Final Edited This final project or assignment is very beneficial for the CAGD major because it prepares you to create a new form of material that you can use in majorities programs. You can use this method to import into Painter and Unity as a form of material for future projects. I never considered myself using this method until recently for one of my projects related to Unity for another class. We need to create four tile textures for this assignment, including a demo and three of our own pictures. You would need to use Photoshop because you will use offset, clone stamp tool, patch tool, and vertex mask with the brush. From my own pictures, I use levels to make more contrast for a more defined texture without any reflection of the sun. Afterward, exported and imported into Unity as a material to verify the tile texture is flat, not bumping. Back to Photoshop, we need to convert it into a diffuse and normal map to give more depth within the surface for Unity or any oth...
